Points Per: Item Quantity: Specific Items

In Points Per: Item Quantity: Specific Items events, members purchase specific items from the brand’s catalog and, if the number of items purchased meets the specified threshold, receive a dynamic points award based on the number of items purchased.

Core restrictions

Points Per: Item Quantity: Specific Items events are constrained by the following core restrictions.

  • Qualifying Items

    Specifies which items in the brands’ catalog are eligible to earn the outcome for a rule. Use the SKU picker to select the products.

  • Decimal Precision

    Indicates the number of decimals used by the SessionM platform to determine the item quantity for Points Per calculations.

  • Discount Eligibility

    Indicates whether fully discounted items (items that have a zero-dollar value) should be included in determining the outcome earned by members. This restriction is disabled by default.

    Indicates the number of items that must be purchased in the transaction before points are awarded.

Example

Your brand runs a promotion where members are awarded 50 points for each fir sapling purchased when they buy at least 3 saplings (specified in the Outcome Hurdle restriction) during the month of May.
